2017 4-H Canada Global Network Summit

2017 4-H Canada Global Network Summit -- July 11-14, 2017 -- Ottawa, Ontario



The 2017 Global 4-H Network Summit is the opportunity for 4-H youth, leaders and professionals from 60 countries around the world, representing 7 million worldwide, to gather together in Canada’s national capital city of Ottawa during Canada’s 150th birthday. 

This will be an important event, as delegates come together to share experiences, learn from each other and celebrate the successes of the 4-H Global movement through positive youth development.

THE OPPORTUNITY
4-H PEI will be selecting a delegation of ten (10) 4-H Senior Members and twelve (12) 4-H Leaders to attend the Global 4-H Network Summit in Ottawa. 

Members interested in attending must be 16 years old as of July 1st, 2017, be an active member in “Good Standing, and need to complete the downloadable application below and submit it to the 4-H PEi Provincial Council Office by 5:00 pm on Friday, September 16.
The cost to each member delegate for the program is $800 (includes accommodations, airfare, meals and conference fee).  4-H Canada may be offering a subsidy to help offset this expense (details TBA).

Leaders interested in attending
must be an active and screened leader in 2017-2018, and need to complete the downloadable application below and submit it to the 4-H PEi Provincial Council Office by 5:00 pm on Friday, September 16.
The cost to each leader delegate for the program is $800 (includes accommodations, airfare, meals and conference fee). 4-H Canada may be offering a subsidy to help offset this expense (details TBA).

Delegates will be notified in early October, 2016.  Should more applications than positions be submitted, priority will be given to members and leaders who have not participated in a national travel event in the last 5 years.
